While there are are some small shops on North Captiva Island, you should bring everything that you are going to need for your stay. We do, however, have some restrictions that you need to be aware of.
Passengers are permitted to 2 pieces of luggage per person. You may be charged extra if you exceed luggage limitations.
Groceries must be "Boat Packed". This means putting the brown paper bag inside a plastic grocery bag, preventing soggy bottoms and making it easier to store your groceries.
We reccomend you call Publix, our local grocery store, before you travel to order your groceries prior to your departure. They will have them "boat packed" and ready to go for you upon your arrival. Call them at (239)458-8900.
You can also call Mainland Connection at 239/283-6311. They will do all your shopping for you and have your house stocked when you arrive.
Large coolers are prohibited. Coolers must be smaller than 2’x3’x18" or 48 quarts and weigh less than 30lbs.
Large or multiple Rubbermaid containers and cardboard boxes are prohibited. If large items take up seats or deck space, you will be charged accordingly.
Packing instructions must be followed in order to accommodate everyone.
